HOW DID YOU GET HERE? I received my B.A. in Business Administration and worked in various business fields for 20 years.  I then felt a desire to teach elementary school and returned to college at the University of South Florida to earn my Master’s in Elementary Education.  I had the privilege to teach elementary students in Florida and Indiana for ten years before deciding to leave public K-12 education.  I knew I wanted to stay in education, and was fortunate to obtain a position as a licensing advisor in the College of Education working with students who were studying to become K-12 teachers.  I enjoy most working with students and helping them navigate through their college years and prepare for exciting opportunities after graduation.  When a position opened at the COO, I saw an opportunity to work with students across campus, not just those in the College of Education.

WHAT DO YOU LIKE MOST ABOUT WORKING AT THE CCO? Being part of an amazing team of multi-talented individuals.

WHAT IS THE MOST UNUSUAL JOB YOU EVER HAD? The summer after high school graduation, supervising the public who came to pick strawberries at a U-Pick strawberry farm.

FAVORITE THINGS: All things Disney, solving puzzles (all kinds), traveling, walks on the beach (or anywhere outdoors), college football

QUOTE YOU LIVE BY: “You can design and create and build the most wonderful place in the world.  But it takes people to make the dream a reality.” – Walt Disney
