HOW DID YOU GET HERE?

My career in higher education began when I was an undergraduate student worker in admissions at my alma mater. While working there, I had a glimpse of students' excitement for their future and the potential that lies in front of them. After graduating with my bachelor's degree, I decided undergraduate admissions is where I wanted to be. In the 8 years of admissions and recruiting, I worked in a wide variety of schools and traveled to several different states and countries. It was a great experience seeing where and how other student from other cultures study. After years of admissions, I wanted to explore other opportunities while also settling down with a family. I was itching to be back on a college campus and an opportunity opened up to work at a career center at the Purdue School of Engineering and Technology, IUPUI, where again, I was able to help students with their future and their goals. This opportunity provided me to work with students on a closer level. Now being part of Purdue University and the CCO team, I am excited to be able to offer even more opportunities for students to help set their futures for success.

Helping students and employers connect with one another.

WHAT IS THE MOST UNUSUAL JOB YOU HAVE EVER HAD?

I was in charge of watering about 50 plants for a neighbor while they were on vacation. It paid great when I was in middle and high school but to this day, I prefer fake plants at home.
