INVITE CCO OR PPA TO PRESENT
The Center for Career Opportunities (CCO) and Pre-Professional Advising (PPA) welcome partnerships with campus constituents in support of student career development. It does this through classroom and student organization/group presentations. Before submitting your request, please review the following guidelines:
Presentation Request Guidelines:
- Choose the presentation topic that fits your needs; then, complete and submit your form at least 2-3 weeks prior to your requested date. You may request up to 2 workshops/semester.
- Our team will review the request and claim or deny it depending upon staff availability. You will be informed of the outcome. Submitting the form does not guarantee that the CCO or PPA can meet your need.
- Review and share prerecorded CCO/PPA YouTube videos with your students prior to the presentation. This will encourage richer conversation during the presentation. Feel welcome to embed these into BrightSpace.
- The CCO has prerecorded videos on topics such as Resumes, Job Search, Interviewing, Networking, and CCO Services
- PPA has prerecorded videos on topics such as Choosing a Major, Getting Involved in Research, Shadowing Healthcare Professionals, and Transitioning to College
- For student organization/club events after 5:00 pm, the CCO and PPA require at least 10 attendees.
